No. HearInsure can insure any device that is less than 12-months old. Please ensure you have your original proof of purchase which shows the purchase date when applying for your cover.

In most instances, when a claim is made, HearInsure will work directly with your trusted hearing care professional, to arrange a brand new replacement device for fitting as soon as possible.

Premiums can be paid online, via our secure payment portal, over the phone using your credit card, or by cheque.

HearInsure has comprehensive hearing aid insurance cover starting from as little as $X.XX per year, which is a small fraction of the potential out-of-pocket replacement costs of your device if it is lost, damaged or stolen.

Depending on your chosen level of cover, you may be insured against loss, accidental and unrepairable damage as well as theft. You can also elect to have worldwide cover.

As long as you have a current policy, you can claim at any time.

In the event of a claim, simply contact HearInsure to pay your excess payment. From there, HearInsure will work with your trusted hearing care provider to arrange for a replacement device to be fitted, without the need for you to worry about further payments

If you selected the auto-renew option at the time of taking our HearInsure cover, your policy will be automatically renewed, and you will be sent confirmation and an updated policy schedule automatically.

If your policy is not set for auto-renew, you will be sent a reminder approximately four weeks before your policy lapses. Renewal is easy – Simply:

  • Phone 1300 585 842 – 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday, or;
  • Contact your trusted hearing care provider
You can cancel your policy at any time by phoning HearInsure on 1300 585 842.

Refunds are payable for cancellations, where the premium has been paid annually in advance. The refund amount is calculated on a pro-rata basis less any administration fees payable. Please phone us on 1300 585 842 – 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday to discuss your refund request.

Yes, you can cancel your policy within the first 30 days if you change your mind. You will receive a full refund of premiums paid, less any administration fees payable. Please phone us on 1300 585 842 – 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday to discuss your cancellation request.
